How to play Paper Dogfight online
Paper Dogfight is one of the games on inkmate. Every plane for itself: steer a doodled paper plane, throw pencil darts and out-loop your friends. It is free, runs in the browser and needs no sign-up.
At a glance
- Seats: 2–6 players
- Length: 3–10 min
- Against bots on your own: open Paper Dogfight
- In a room, with friends anywhere: make a room and share the code
How Paper Dogfight works
- You fly a paper plane that never stops. Put a thumb on the left and drag to steer; the plane turns toward where you drag. On a computer use the arrow keys or WASD.
- Tap FIRE (or press Space) to throw a pencil dart. You carry five and they recharge, so spray less and aim more. The sky wraps around, so leave one edge and you come back in the other.
- Each hit scores a point. Three hits and a plane crumples into confetti, then flies back in two seconds. The round lasts two minutes or until someone reaches ten hits, and the most hits wins.
Starting a game of Paper Dogfight
- Go to make a room and pick a name.
- Send the room code to your friends. A room holds up to six people.
- Open Paper Dogfight from the room's home screen, choose the options and start. Everyone joins in live.
No friends around? You can also jump straight in from the home page without making a room.
Tips for paper dogfight
- Aim ahead of a moving plane, not at it: darts fly straight and are quick, but not instant.
- Grab the umbrella (a shield for one hit), the pencil case (full ammo) and the tailwind (a short speed boost).
- Play in a room and add doodle bots: two people get a proper fight, and the bots keep the sky busy.
